The Arch team utilizes agile software development methodologies. As such, we embrace the changing nature of requirements, architecture and code. We, however, manage that change effectively to minimize risk while maximizing successful delivery. Our approach solves the most common problems through small releases, called iterations, which typically last anywhere between one week and one month. Smaller release cycles means less complexity in the code leading to significantly less bugs as well as a structure that id conducive to accepting changing requirements. A release doesn’t necessarily mean deployment to the customer, but is simply a part of the final release that is defined, coded, tested and ready to be deployed when the full release plan is fulfilled. The Arch Team Agile approach embodies the best practices in software development that have worked for over a decade in large and small companies alike. It does not give incremental benefits within traditional methods but results in breakthrough benefits in requirements elicitation and management, code quality and release management.
Arch’s experience in enterprise architecture has brought about many business process improvements. The business process models developed by Arch at Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are used to identify key business stakeholders, business risks, security risks, high level business requirements, data exchanges, technical concept of operations, and cost estimates. Arch consultants have formed partnerships with internal organizations to facilitate the use of EA work products for business decision making to avoid redundant investments.
Arch Systems prides itself on collaborating with its clients to deliver enduring solutions encompassing the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). At Arch, our vision is to be the best company possible — in the eyes of our clients and partners. We expect and demand the best we have to offer by always making Arch’s values a priority, by producing solutions that are both innovative and beneficial.
