Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
Adam serves both as the Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer for Arch Systems. His primary focus is to provide an environment to protect both Arch and Client data from security issues and misuse. Adam also manages overall security operations for Arch Systems contracts.
With a career in IT and IT security covering two decades in Healthcare that spans commercial, provider, and government programs, Adam has been at the forefront of the ever-evolving security landscape. He has directed security oversight on multiple billion-dollar disbursement systems for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as Affordable Care Act (ACA) systems on both the software development and production support. He has also worked within healthcare providers and insurance environments to build and strengthen security programs as well as work to support state Medicaid programs.
Adam remains committed to the information security community as a mentor and promoter. With his direct involvement in Economic Development Authority to support information security for start-up businesses in Maryland, as well as an organizing member of the local BSides security conference. He has also been an active speaker for security in the BSides series, as well as for CMS-sponsored events. Adam is a proud Johns Hopkins (Blue Jays) graduate and holds multiple security certifications from ISC(2) and ISACA.
