Mr. Bajinder Paul held key leadership positions in the Senior Executive Service (SES) as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and as Deputy CIO across multiple federal agencies for more than 25 years. Bajinder provided government-wide strategic and operational leadership in leading large, complex information technology (IT) organizations, programs, and infrastructure and built a solid reputation nationally across the federal government as an agent of change, leading innovation, reducing operational costs while enhancing customer/user experience.
AWARDS
Nationally recognized for these efforts as the recipient of the Fed 100 award in 2008 and 2011, which recognizes the top 100 IT executives from the federal government and industry that demonstrated the greatest impacts in Information technology. Recipient of the National CIO Achievement Award, 2011. Bajinder provided National and global leadership in leading change through technology across multiple mission/business sectors that include Financial and Banking services; food and Agriculture; law enforcement; federal banking, and consumer regulation and compliance oversight.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Arch Systems, Bajinder served as the Deputy CIO for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Bajinder also held Chief Information Officer Treasury’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). He was also the Deputy CIO of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Chief Information Officer at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the General Services Administration (GSA). Bajinder’s leadership across multiple federal agencies established a proven track record as a seasoned IT leader in leading all aspects of information technology, including software development, program and project management, IT infrastructure – Cloud based transformations, Enterprise Architecture, cybersecurity, multi-disciplinary workforce, IT acquisition, and budget oversight. Bajinder consistently held positions with increasing strategic, managerial, operational, and technical leadership challenges in leading transformations with national and global missions and impacts.

Bajinder has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. Bajinder also served as an Adjunct Professor at Howard University and Georgetown University.
